Knowledge of jasmine harvesting
The flowering period of jasmine varies according to the climatic conditions of the region. Generally, when the monthly average temperature is above 20 ℃ and the daily temperature is above 30 ℃, a vigorous harvest period will be formed. During the flowering period of a year, jasmine flowers will form a wave-like "flower season" of 3murs and 4 waves. Each "flower season" has a prosperous yield day of about 7 days, which is called "flood". Before or after the "flood", it is called "small water". The difference of daily output between big water and small water in flower season is 10 times, and the interval of "flower season" is about one month. For example, the "flower season" in Hengxian County is divided into:
Spring flower season: that is, the first flood of the year, usually in April or May, accounting for about 15% of the annual output.
Baihua season: the second flood of the year, usually from June to July, accounting for about 30% of the annual output.
Fuhua flood: the third flood of the year, usually in August, accounting for about 30% of the annual output.
Autumn flower flood: the fourth flood of the year, usually from September to November, accounting for about 25% of the annual output.
In terms of quality, due to high temperature, strong light, rain and heat in the same season, and sufficient water, summer and summer flowers have many buds, large buds and the best quality, which can best reflect the characters of the varieties. Due to the lower temperature and less nutrient accumulation, the quality of spring flowers is slightly lower than that of summer and summer flowers. The quality of autumn flowers is the same as that of summer and summer flowers in the early stage, and the quality is slightly lower in the later stage because the weather gradually turns cool. The jasmine flowers in spring and autumn are small and yellow, so it is difficult to open and spit out fragrance.
Collecting flowers is the purpose of jasmine cultivation. The harvest time and standard have great influence on the yield and quality of jasmine. The harvest standard of jasmine is that the picked flowers can open and spit out fragrance that night, and those that can open and smell are called "day flowers"; the immature flowers picked early before reaching the standard of "day flowers" are called "green buds"; the flowers that are already in bloom at the time of picking are called "white flowers". The collected "green buds" will not open and spit out incense, so they have no economic value, while the "white flowers" most of the aromatic oil has volatilized naturally, and the economic value is not great. Only the budding "day flower" is the object of harvest.
The main characteristics of "day flower" are: the flower is full and white, the stem is long, that is, the Corolla is long, and the Corolla is far away from the calyx. The characteristics of "green bud" are: the flower is not full, the bud is small, the color is not white and bluish yellow, the Corolla is short, and the Corolla is close to the calyx. Although there is an obvious difference between "day flower" and "green bud", if the flower is picked too early (for example, the sun has not yet risen or just set, 6: 00 am or 8: 00 am), or the temperature is relatively low, it will often be difficult to distinguish, resulting in missed or wrong mining, resulting in losses. So make a careful distinction when picking. The harvest time should be arranged reasonably and picked at the right time. In theory, the suitable harvest time is at 2: 00 p. M., because the "same flower" in the afternoon has fully matured and has a high content of aromatic oil. But it is often too late to pick jasmine flowers in the afternoon, so jasmine harvesting is usually brought forward to after nine o'clock in the morning or at noon. The jasmine after harvest should be protected from extrusion damage and should be sent to the scented tea processing plant in time for maintenance.

The legend of jasmine
The real name jasmine was introduced into China from southwest Asia as early as the Han Dynasty and has a history of more than 1600 years. It is of high economic value and is mainly used to make scented tea (xun). But scenting tea has only been put into production for more than 100 years. Legend has it that in Huqiu, Suzhou, a farmer surnamed Zhao lived in Huqiu in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The couple and three sons lived in poverty. Zhao Lao Han went out to make a living and settled in the Guangdong countryside, coming back every two or three years. Wife and son are farming at home. The children are growing up.

Management techniques of Jasmine Field in Summer and Autumn
Jasmine is a traditional fragrant flower. Riley is cultivated in the open field in many places, and the flowering period is as long as 5 Mel for 7 months. The main techniques of Jasmine field management are as follows: -, ploughing and weeding. We should often shallow hoe and loosen the soil and weed, create a loose and aerated soil environment for Riley's root system, avoid the dispersion of nutrients and promote its growth and development. Second, reasonable water management. Riley flowers have luxuriant branches and leaves, and the water transpiration is large. The soil should always be kept moist, and the water content in the field during flowering period should be maintained.
