Peach variety: Jinxiu
The Institute of Horticulture of Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences was bred by the cross of Baihua Shuimi × Yundian No. 1. The original code is Shanghai 401, which was named in 1985.
The fruit is oval, the two halves are asymmetric, the top of the fruit is round, the apex is slightly convex; the average single check weight is 150 grams, the maximum fruit weight is 275 grams; the pericarp is golden, rose red, covering 75%, thick skin, not strong toughness, and can be peeled off; the pulp is golden, radiate purple halo or rose halo near the core, hard solute, sweet and sour flavor, strong aroma; soluble solids 12% color 16%. Sticky core. The tree is medium in height and open in its posture. The main fruit is long and medium fruit branches. The beginning of flower buds are the second and third sections, and most of them are compound flower buds. It is more productive. It blossomed on April 11 in Nanjing area, and the fruit matured in mid-late August.
This variety is a yellow peach variety for both late ripening, fresh food and processing. The fresh food quality is medium, the canned quality is medium, the yield is high. It should be developed in the suburbs of the city. There is a large amount of development in Shanghai, and the market prospect is promising.
