Characteristics: large panicle and large grain japonica rice varieties. The plant type is compact, the plant height is 106 cm, the root system is well developed, and the stem is stout. The leaf color is dark green, the leaf is broad and thick, the function is long, the living plant is mature, the angle between the leaf and the stem is small, the plant is beautiful. The ear length is 16 cm, the number of grains per ear is 160, the 1000-grain weight is 28MUE 29g, the grain is broad-ovate, the grain length is medium, the glume tip is yellow, the tillering ability is medium to high, and the panicle rate is more than 75%. Brown rice rate 84.5%, milled rice rate 75%, head rice rate 68.9%, chalkiness rate 12%, chalkiness degree 0.9%, amylose content 17.7%, taste good. The whole growth period of planting in Tianjin is about 175 days, with strong lodging resistance, good yield, good rice quality, medium resistance to panicle neck blast and light susceptibility to rice false smut. From 1996 to 1997, the average yield per mu in the northern rice regional trial was 551.7 kg, 6.3% higher than that of Jin 1187, and the average yield per mu in the northern rice production test in 1998 was 579.9 kg, 6.7% higher than that of the control.
