(2) characteristics: the strain has compact plant type, raised flag leaves, green leaves and light green internodes, strong cold tolerance at seedling stage, strong growth, strong tillering ability and good color conversion in the later stage. The plant height is 90 cm and the whole growth period is 185 days, which is 4-7 days later than that of the control japonica 9. The ear is 17 cm long and the number of grains is 1.

The main results are as follows: (1) Variety source: it is an alpine japonica rice variety, which was bred by seed Station of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Prefecture in 1978 from the intermediate material "7801-10Mui 2mi 39".

The ear length is 17 cm, the number of grains is 100, and the seed setting rate is 70%. Long oval grain, short awn, 26 grams of 1000-grain weight, 83.5% brown rice rate, 73% milled rice rate, translucent rice quality, small chalkiness, good appetite and good rice quality. Resistance identification: leaf blast 7, neck blast 5, compared with control stem 9, leaf blast 5, neck blast 5, the resistance was slightly weaker, and slightly stronger than that of the local control species "79Murmel 2", leaf blast grade 7, neck blast grade 9.

(3) yield performance: participated in the regional trials of alpine japonica rice in Liangshan Prefecture in 1992 and 1993, the yield was increased at all four points in 1992, with an average yield of 379.4 kg per mu, which was 7.05% higher than that of the control Japonica 9; at 3 points in 1993, the yield was increased at 2 points, but the yield was not significantly reduced at one point. the average yield per mu was 333.07 kg, which was 11.6% higher than that of the control, and the yield per mu was 425kg and 27% higher than that of Jing9. In 1995, more than 10,000 mu were planted in Yanyuan County. It's a good response.

(4) suitable planting area: suitable for planting in the alpine rice area with an altitude of 1900-2430 meters in Liangshan Prefecture.
