The newly bred red rice Wandao 129, also known as Peiliangyou 98, is a new rice variety that Anqing Agricultural Science Institute has paid attention to since 1999. Its rice grain is light red and dark red after finishing, which has the characteristics of excellent rice quality, high yield and good resistance. at present, the planting area is 800 hectares, the per unit yield is more than 500 kg, and the unit yield of high-yield field can reach 650 kg. It is understood that the successful cultivation of Wandao 129 has filled the gap in the domestic two-line hybrid rice (red rice) varieties, and the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance have formally identified it as a financial support project for the transformation of agricultural scientific and technological achievements.
