In order to improve the freshwater fishery grade, promote the optimization and upgrading of species structure, and improve the economic benefit, Hangzhou Xiaoshan Hairun Aquaculture Co., Ltd. introduced 3000 shad fingerlings of 1.5cm to 2.0cm from the United States in late July 2003. According to the living habits of American shad, the company's technicians groped while testing. After more than half a year of careful breeding and overwintering management, the average specification has reached 25 cm, the maximum specification has reached more than 30 cm, and the weight has reached 50-60 grams per tail.
