Prevention and control of chicken mites

Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Chicken mite is a common in vitro parasite of chickens. Prevention and treatment: (1) thoroughly disinfect the chicken house. (2) soak the affected chicken's feet in warm soapy water, soften the crusts, remove them, apply 20% sulfur ointment or 10% insecticidal ointment or 2% carbonic acid ointment, and apply again at intervals of several days. With 0.1% trichlorfon solution, soak the feet of diseased chickens in the solution for 5 minutes, scrape off the crusts, and then wash the affected area with a small brush.
