Therefore, during this period, according to the weather conditions and soil moisture, continuous irrigation is necessary to increase the fruit size and prevent the production of toad skin fruit. Golden pear is more resistant to waterlogging, but it should be drained in time after a long rain.

In the middle of June, fruit expansion fertilizer should be applied. Generally, 1.5-2kg compound fertilizer should be applied to each tree, depending on the size of the tree. The shooting ditch should be opened and watered after sprinkling. The first ten days of July is the beginning of rapid fruit expansion, foliar fertilizer should be applied, nitrogen fertilizer should be controlled, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be sprayed 0.1-0.2 kg per tree to improve fruit quality.

The main diseases from June to August are scab, brown spot, ring rot and so on. The main pests are pear heart borer, beetle, wood louse, pear aphid, red spider and so on. The control method is to spray carbendazim + abamectin (or pyrethroid) in the middle of June. Spray imidacloprid + trimethoprim in early July, mancozeb + Taoxiaoling in late July, and spray sulfuric acid + carbendazim in early August. At the same time, can hang sugar and vinegar solution to kill pear heart borer, beetle, pear aphid and so on.

In April and early June, the top of the spring shoot stops growing, and summer pruning, coring, thinning and pulling branches should be carried out, so as to prevent poor ventilation due to dense canopy branches and leaves. In the young fruit stage, it is easy to produce fruit because of too much water and high humidity in the air. The general number of branches is 1000 to 2000 per plant.
