Fengliangyou No.1 (Rice)

This variety is a new two-line hybrid rice variety selected by Fengle seed Industry Rice Research Institute and Northern Japonica Hybrid Center.

Excellent rice quality "Fengliangyou No.1" has excellent rice quality, crystal clear appearance, no belly white and good palatability. Determined by the National Rice testing Center, except amylose (15%), the other 11 indexes reached the first-class high-quality rice standard, and were rated as high-quality rice varieties by Anhui Provincial Committee of Agriculture in 2001.

The high yield participated in the regional trial of new varieties in Anhui Province, with an average increase of 5.02% over "Shanyou 63" in two years. The production demonstration in Hefei in 2000 was tested and accepted by the experts of the Municipal Committee of Agriculture, the Science and Technology Commission and the Bureau of Agriculture and Forestry in the field. the yield per unit area was 773.7 kg, 16% higher than that of the control "Xieyou 63". In 2001, the 3000 mu demonstration area of Dawei Township on the outskirts of Hefei was checked and accepted by the provincial expert group on tackling key problems of rice in the 10th five-year Plan. The reasonable yield structure of this variety is as follows: the total number of ears per mu is 14-160000 ears, the total number of grains per panicle is 180-220, the seed setting rate is more than 85%, and the 1000-grain weight is 29 grams. Farmers plant high-yield fields with a yield of about 650 kg per mu and more than 700 kg per mu of high-yield fields.

The ripening period is moderate and the adaptability is wide. The first-cropping mid-season rice in Anhui was sown in late April and heading in early August, which was 7 days earlier than that of "Shanyou 63". The filling period is more than 5 days longer than that of "Shanyou 63", so the whole growth period is similar. Fengle Rice Research Institute conducted a stage sowing experiment from 2001 to 2002. From April 15 to June 15, it was sowed every 10 days, including seven periods. The per unit yield was more than 600 kg and the suitable sowing period was wide. In the past three years, it has been tested at thousands of sites in Anhui, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Sichuan and Henan provinces, all of which show good adaptability.

High resistance to rice bacterial blight, medium resistance to rice blast, especially strong resistance to rice sheath blight, the stem is very beautiful in the whole growth period, the late ripening phase is good, and the stalk is green and yellow.

High economic value "Fengliangyou No. 1" commercial rice head rice rate is as high as 64%, which is 8 Mel and 10 jin more per 100 jin of rice than ordinary three-line hybrid rice. The rice is of good quality and has a smooth market. As long as grain merchants have operated "Fengliangyou No.1" commercial rice, they will track and purchase. Generally take the price of 5 cents to 8 cents per jin than the market price at that time to order with farmers in the field. According to the survey, if farmers plant "Fengliangyou No.1", they can increase production by more than 50 kilograms per mu. In addition, each kilogram of commercial rice can be sold by 0.1 yuan to 0.2 yuan, and farmers' income can be increased by more than 100 yuan per mu.

Attention should be paid to the following points in the promotion of "Fengliangyou No.1":

The sowing and heading time of this variety is short, and the effective tillering period is also short, so the planting should not be too sparse, and 1.5-18000 holes / mu should be the best. Two grains of rice seedlings per hole. There are two ways to cultivate high yield of "Fengliangyou No. 1". Large panicle type: less than 130000 ears per mu, about 220grains per panicle, 85% seed setting rate, yield structure of more than 700kg. The second type of spike grain is heavy: about 160000 ears per mu, 180 grains per ear, seed setting rate 85% more than 700kg yield structure. By contrast, the second category is safe.

Rice false smut was prevented at heading stage. The second stage filling characteristic of this variety is obvious. The filling time is long, the water cut off in the later stage can not be early, the mature period should be harvested in time, and the quality and yield should not be affected by overripening.
