Characteristics: this variety belongs to indica three-line hybrid rice. the average growth period of double-cropping late rice in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River is 122.9 days, which is 1.8 days later than that of Shanyou 46. The plant height is 96.6 cm, the plant type is moderate, the population is neat, and it is easy to drop grains. The number of effective panicles per mu is 194000 ears, ear length is 22.5cm, total grains per panicle is 112.9, seed setting rate is 83.5%, and 1000-grain weight is 28.2g. Resistance: Rice blast 7, bacterial blight 9, brown planthopper 7. Main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate 63%, aspect ratio 2.7, chalkiness 57%, chalkiness 10.9%, gel consistency 47.5 mm, amylose content 21.5%.

Yield performance: in 2001, participated in the regional trial of late indica medium-late maturity and high yield group in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the average yield per mu was 495.49 kg, which was 1.16% higher than that of Shanyou 46 (not significant). In 2002, the average yield per mu was 474.81 kg, which was 7.89% higher than that of Shanyou 46 (extremely significant). The average yield per mu in the two-year regional trial was 484.46 kg, which was 4.38% higher than that of Shanyou 46. In the production test in 2003, the average yield per mu was 462.27 kg, which was 2.15% lower than that of Shanyou 46.

Main points of cultivation techniques: 1. Cultivating strong seedlings: according to local planting habits, sowing 1-2 days earlier than Shanyou 46, sowing 10-15 kg per mu; 2.
