Introduction and breeding of Japanese new iron cannon lily
1. Characteristics: in 2004, the new iron cannon seed was introduced from Japan for planting, with a plant height of 40 meters, a white flower color, a trumpet-shaped flower, and a terminal flower. After flowering, it only takes about 8 months from sowing to flowering, with a large reproduction coefficient and no bacteria. It has some excellent characters of lilies. After more than two years of trial planting and promotion in Daheng Science and Technology Park and Ta Qian Lily Base in Nanping City, the suitable sowing time of New Iron cannon Lily is from late September to mid-October, and flowers can be picked 9 months after sowing. The new iron cannon lily is the Japanese high sand lily and the Taiwan iron cannon.

Nutrition Management of nitrogen and Iron deficient Lilium
The mesophyll tissue between the veins of young leaves is yellowish green, especially for fast-growing plants. The greater the amount of iron deficiency in plants, the more yellow the leaves become. Iron deficiency is the most common cause in calcium-rich soils (high pH), muddy soils and soils with too much water. Iron deficiency can also occur if the soil temperature is too low. Iron deficiency is caused by the lack of absorbable iron in plants. If it turns yellow only slightly, it can return to normal during the harvest period. Lily populations and varieties sensitive to iron deficiency include far East hybrids and musk lily hybrids.
