A New canned and fresh Yellow Peach Variety-- Golden Crown
Golden Crown is a new variety of canned and fresh yellow peach selected from Jinxiu natural hybrid. It was identified by experts organized by the Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province in September 2006. The fruit is nearly round, with an average single fruit weight of 167g and a maximum of 245g. Pericarp golden yellow, no red, beautiful appearance; yellow pulp, insolute, non-browning, good comprehensive properties of canned processing, sweet and sour fresh food. Contains 13.8% soluble solids, 9.8% total sugar, 0.67% total acid, strong apricot flavor, excellent quality; small kernel, sticky core, canning processing utilization rate of 82.7%. In the south-central region of Shandong, the fruit matured at the end of July and the beginning of August. The fruit development period is 100 ~ 110 days (days), and the harvest period of canned processing is long (July 25 to August 10). The tree is strong, the germination rate is high, the branching ability is strong, and the fruit setting rate of white flowers is high. Early fruit, high yield, resistance to perforation.
