1. Germicidal effect. Allicin has a good inhibitory and killing effect on Escherichia coli, Salmonella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa that cause diseases in livestock and aquatic animals, especially on enteritis in dairy cows and meat pigs. Gill rot disease of grass carp, red skin disease and fish fulminant infectious diseases are particularly effective, which is an effective way to prevent and control diseases in rural areas to save investment in the development of aquaculture.

2. Improve the palatability of feed. In recent years, in order to reduce the feed cost, many farmers often use some poor palatability feed or add some growth-promoting drugs in compound feed, which leads to the decrease of feed intake or rejection of food intake of farmed animals, resulting in slow growth and emaciation of animals. The palatability of feed and feed intake can be significantly improved by adding allicin.

Allicin attracts animals to eat feed through the smell of garlic, which makes them have an appetite, thus increasing food intake. Most animals, especially fish, like the smell of allicin very much.

3. Improve the production performance. Allicin can not only increase the feed intake of animals, but also prevent and cure many diseases, improve immune function, improve the tissue function of various systems in animals, promote gastrointestinal peristalsis and the secretion of various digestive enzymes, and improve the digestion and utilization of feed for livestock fish. so as to improve the production performance and reduce the feed cost.

Allicin can be turned into allicin under the action of enzymes, which can be excreted in the form of feces and urine, which can prevent the reproduction and growth of breeding pests and improve the environment of enclosures and ponds.

(2) the usage and dosage of allicin. Add fresh garlic. Mashing, chopping or mincing meat is often used to make mashed garlic, and then added to the feed. Or mix fresh garlic with feed ingredients and then crush them. The proportion of fresh garlic added to the feed is 1% Mur10%, which is added according to the size of livestock and poultry. The author has tested it in our county's foreign trade egg breeding farm, and compared with the laying hens fed with no allicin feed, the laying rate increased by 2.73%, 5.95%, 11.10% and 7.83%, respectively, compared with those fed with 50 mg, 67 mg, 84 mg and 100 mg of allicin per kilogram diet, respectively. The experiment on dairy cows shows that allicin can produce a strong natural flavor in dairy concentrate and has a strong food-inducing effect on dairy cows. Statistics show that the daily milk yield of each cow can be increased by 2.28 kg and the feed intake of roughage can be reduced by 0.08 kg / day. increase income by 6-8 yuan per day. In the experiment of lactating sows, it was found that allicin could increase the feed intake of pigs. The experiment on piglets weaned for 15-28 days showed that the daily gain of piglets increased and the ratio of feed to meat decreased when fed with 100 mg / kg garlicin, which was significantly different from that of piglets without allicin.

(4) the effect of allicin in fish production. The Yanxia Reservoir in Tongshan County, Hubei Province, fed tilapia with allicin at a dosage of 500 mg / kg for 45 days. It was found that allicin had a strong food-inducing effect. The feed reward increased by 11%, the comprehensive evaluation value of feed biology increased by 12%, the survival rate increased by 2%, and the weight gain rate also increased. The use of allicin in Rujiatian Reservoir in Tongshan County has a good food-inducing effect on crucian carp, grass carp and carp. The development and service center of feed additive technology in the south of Hubei Province uses garlic with roots to dry. The mixture of oil and water was obtained by grinding the meat grinder into powder, heating and steaming, and after separation, the garlic oil was added to grass carp according to 0.008% of the feed weight, the survival rate was increased by more than 15%, and the weight gain of tilapia was increased by 10% and 15%.

It can partially replace antibiotics to reduce the drug resistance produced by microorganisms and have a beneficial effect on the health of livestock fish. adding allicin to feed can be used as a way to solve the problem of antibiotics.
