Characteristics: conventional japonica rice varieties. The plant height is about 100 cm, the plant type is loose, the leaf is longer, the leaf color is light green, the early growth and rapid development, the later stage living stem mature, the stem toughness is strong. The grain is long ovoid, glume and glume tip yellow, awnless. The grain density is moderate, the ear length is 20.1 cm, the number of grains per ear is 126, the seed setting rate is 98.3%, the 1000-grain weight is 26 grams, the head rice rate is 61.9%, the chalkiness is 10.7% and the amylose content is 18.1%. The whole growth period is about 144 days, which is one day later than Ji Yujing. Good yield, medium rice quality, strong tillering ability, lodging resistance, cold resistance, medium resistance to rice blast, good adaptability. From 1998 to 1999, he participated in the regional trial of Jiyu Japonica ripening period in the northern rice region of the country. The average yield per mu was 627.5 kg, which was 9.8% higher than that of Jiyujing, the control. In the production test in 1999, the average yield per mu was 607kg, 6.7% higher than that of JiYujing.

Cultivation points: in Jilin Province, sowing in mid-late April, transplanting in mid-late May, transplanting density 26 cm X 12 cm or 30 cm X 20 cm. Fertilization during the growth period must be adjusted to local conditions, the land with high fertility should be applied less, otherwise, it should be applied more.
