Qina Town, Yongsheng County, perennial rice planting area of 16000 mu, as of June 6, the whole town depends on reservoir water storage and Chenghai Lake water irrigation, to achieve full planting. However, due to the rare drought in history from September last year to July 19 this year, some rice seedlings without water sources and wells in our town dried up, and it was difficult to ensure timely irrigation in places with small water sources and pumping wells, resulting in a shortage of rice stems and tillers. In this regard, the management of rice in the middle and later stage of the town suggested to take the following management measures.

First, taking measures in accordance with local conditions and changing water into drought. Our town belongs to the dry and hot area of the Jinsha River, which is rich in heat resources. for partially exhausted grain seedlings, we can plough to develop autumn and winter vegetables, such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, etc., and can also plant early-maturing hybrid corn.

Second, the water source is relatively good, but can not guarantee timely irrigation, resulting in insufficient tillers of the field, can increase the application of nitrogen and potassium fertilizer. The specific operation is to apply urea 57.5 and potassium sulfate 7.5 per mu to promote the formation of large panicles of rice, increase the seed setting rate, and finally increase the per unit yield and total yield.
