Changmi 011 (Rice)

The main results are as follows: (1) Variety source: Changmi 011 is a conventional rice variety bred by indica and japonica intersubspecific hybrid rice resources such as IR26, Chengdu late Japonica, Romeo and Liza used by Xichang Agricultural Research Institute of Liangshan Prefecture.

(2) characteristics: the whole growth period of this variety is 160-170 days (planted in Xichang), about 7 days earlier than Shanyou 63, plant height 85 cm, ear length 18-20 cm, 120 grains per panicle, seed setting rate more than 80%, 1000-grain weight 25-27 grams. The plant type is moderate and tight, the tillering ability is strong, the flag leaves are erect, the leaves are dark green, and the rice grains are transparent. Most of the rice quality reaches the first-or second-grade high-quality rice standards issued by the Ministry. The resistance was identified as grade 4 for leaf blast and 0-1 for neck blast.

(3) yield performance: in the regional test of Liangshan Prefecture in 1987-1988, the average yield per mu was 542.1kg, which was 6.4% higher than that of the control variety Fujiang No.2.

(4) main points of cultivation: sowing seeds at the right time, cultivating strong seedlings, planting basic seedlings 10-120000 per mu, re-applying base fertilizer, early topdressing, increasing phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, timely control of diseases and insect pests in the later stage, and timely harvest to improve efficiency.

(5) suitable planting area: suitable for planting in conventional high quality indica rice areas below 1600 meters above sea level in our province.
