1 etiology

The main causes of lean and barren disease in cattle are as follows:

1.1 due to the single feed, lack of energy, the gradual decline of dietary desire, resulting in the decline of the body's own resistance, coupled with the invasion of wind-cold and external evil, the disease was induced without timely treatment.

1.2 short-term postpartum breeding of female animals, insufficient feeding, resulting in spleen and stomach damage, can not produce fine, resulting in digestive system dysfunction, causing disease.

1.3 loss of recuperation after the disease, or due to the invasion of some infectious diseases and internal parasites, long-term injury to the viscera, loss of qi and blood, yin and yang, thus inducing the disease.

2 clinical symptoms

The main clinical manifestations are as follows: loss of appetite, even abstinence, thin body, rough and shaggy coat, slow response, slow movement, weakness of limbs, depression in spirit and absence of eyes; constipation and diarrhea occur alternately in the digestive system; pulse examination: pulse is weak; other manifestations are conjunctival pallor showing anemia symptoms.

3 treatment

The syndrome differentiation and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine is always based on qi and blood yin and yang. It is often treated by tonifying the middle and replenishing qi, tonifying the blood and nourishing the liver. Shenqi Jianzhong decoction is the main treatment, supplemented by energy supplement.

Shenqi Jianzhong decoction: Codonopsis pilosula 40g, astragalus 40g, Yinchen 60g, Ophiopogon 30g, Schisandra 30g, jujube 45g, brown sugar 100g as decoction, one dose a day, with 3-5 doses.

Supplemented with energy supplement: 10% glucose 1000ml, saline 1000ml. Vc20ml, mixed intravenous drip.

4 nursing care

To strengthen feeding and management, we should use nutritious feed, avoid single feed, keep the stable house clean and hygienic, regularly dispel internal parasites, and prevent external sensation when the climate suddenly changes.
