Characteristics: it belongs to small tree type, middle leaf type, extra early species, tall plant, semi-open tree posture and medium branches. The leaf is long oval, the average leaf length is 9.0 cm, the leaf width is 3.5 cm, the leaf vein is 7-9 pairs, the leaf color is yellow-green, glossy, the leaf surface is flat, the leaf body is folded, the leaf quality is thick and soft. The bud breeding power is medium, the peak period of one bud and three leaves is in the middle and late March, the bud leaves are yellowish green, the hairs are less, and the weight of one bud, three leaves and one hundred buds is 121.0 grams. The dry sample of one bud and two leaves of spring tea contains 1.5% amino acids, 37.2% tea polyphenols and 4.4% caffeine. The quality of oolong tea is obviously better than that of Fujian Narcissus. The cold resistance is weak.

Yield performance: during the national regional trial from 1997 to 2001, the yield was 34.05-68.87% lower than that of Fuding Dabai tea. Compared with oolong tea control, Fujian daffodils was 2.96% higher in Guilin and 42.83% lower in Changsha.

Key points of cultivation techniques: select the land with loose and fertile soil with double-row strip planting, about 3000 plants per mu. Apply more organic fertilizer, no partial application of nitrogen fertilizer, pay attention to drought prevention and small green leafhopper damage in high temperature and dry season, and prevent frost injury in low temperature season.
