Variety source: in 1955, Guizhou Meitan Evening Daye Tea was selected as the female parent and Yunnan Fengqing Daye Tea as the male parent. After artificial pollination, it was systematically bred from FI.
Characteristics: small tree type, large leaves, branches are more developed, leaves are born horizontally, leaf length is 14.64 cm, leaf width is 6.22 cm, leaf vein is 9rel 11 pairs, leaf tip is convex, mesophyll is thin, bud leaf is yellow-green, one bud is three leaves, leaf length is 12.33 cm, weight is 0.99 g, bud leaf is hairy, germination period is medium and early. It contains 34.44% tea polyphenols, 1.52% amino acids and 197.74 mg / g catechins. High yield, strong adaptability and weak cold resistance. Suitable for making black tea with good quality.
Key points of cultivation: double-row and double-plant planting with 5000 trees per mu, 50 cm deep ploughing before planting, 12 cm deep planting depth, reasonable leaf retention and timely pruning.
Suitable scope: Guizhou, Guangxi, Sichuan and other provinces and similar vegetable areas, suitable for making black tea.
