Edible Fungi Farming Pleurotus ostreatus Moisturizing Three Ways
At present, the main reason for the low yield of Pleurotus ostreatus in rural areas is that the water content of Pleurotus ostreatus is too low after harvest. How to make the culture material moisturizing and producing more mushrooms has become an important factor in the high yield of Pleurotus ostreatus.
Stick wall soil covering moisturizing: lay a 15cm-20cm thick soil ridge according to the length of the bacterial bag in the shed, and remove the plastic bag from the mushroom bag. Put the stick neatly on the ridge of the soil. Each row is covered with 3-4 cm thick soil, sprayed with water on both sides and smoothed with mud. Then discharge the second layer of bacterial sticks and cover the soil, which can discharge 6-9 layers, and the top layer should still be covered with soil and wiped flat. Spray a flood behind the wall to make the covered soil absorb enough water. This method can increase the yield of Pleurotus ostreatus by 50% to 90%.
Bag mouth covered with nutritious soil moisturizing: 45 kg of fertile soil, 5 kg of plant ash, adding water to grasp a handful of soil at a height of 1 meter to release, the soil can fall to the ground and spread out. Bagging cultivation and management is the same as the conventional method, except that nutrient soil with a thickness of 2 cm to 3 cm is placed at each end of the bag. During the mushroom period, the nutrient soil was sprayed with water once or twice a day. This method can increase the output by 50%.
Yang border cover soil moisturizing: after bag planting of Pleurotus ostreatus, take off the bag and sun for 1 or 2 days, so that the surface of the stick is covered with a layer of skin, so as to prevent the invasion of diseases and insect pests and inhibit the occurrence of too many fruiting bodies. Cut it longitudinally with a sterilized kitchen knife and arrange it on the sunny border facing up. The gap is filled with fine sand and then covered with fine soil 2cm to 3cm thick. Finally, the aqueous solution containing calcium superphosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and white sugar was added with a ratio of 2 to 0.2 and 1 to 100. This method can increase the output by 80%.

There are wonderful ways to control moisture and increase yield by growing Pleurotus ostreatus indoors.
Humidity control is the key to success in growing Pleurotus ostreatus indoors, especially after mushroom production. At this stage, if the humidity is too low, it will make the mushroom body dry and shrink, or even die; if the humidity is too high, it is easy to rot mushrooms. Practice has proved that it is difficult to control humidity by spraying water, and sometimes the development of bacterial buds is affected due to excessive spraying of water on the material surface, resulting in the death of young mushrooms and the reduction or extinction of production. This paper introduces a wonderful method which can not only control the humidity but also increase the yield of Pleurotus ostreatus without spraying water. Get some cotton cloth and canned bottles and cut the cotton cloth into 8cm × 40

Edible Mushroom Technology: the key to High yield of Pleurotus ostreatus in Summer
In recent years, the production of Pleurotus ostreatus in Beiyang Village, Wangdu County, Baoding City has developed rapidly. However, the summer with high temperature, high humidity and rapid spread of diseases and insect pests has caused great difficulties to the production of Pleurotus ostreatus. The author thinks that summer production should grasp the following points: first, strain selection. The varieties with high temperature tolerance, good mushroom shape, high yield and strong disease resistance were selected. Such as: Hainan No. 2, Chunzai No. 1, he Shi 200 and so on. Second, batching treatment. Reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizer appropriately. Appropriately increase the amount of gypsum. Third, build a heap for fermentation. Minimize the factors that cause poor ventilation. Fermented well
