There are wonderful ways to control moisture and increase yield by growing Pleurotus ostreatus indoors.
Humidity control is the key to success in growing Pleurotus ostreatus indoors, especially after mushroom production. At this stage, if the humidity is too low, it will make the mushroom body dry and shrink, or even die; if the humidity is too high, it is easy to rot mushrooms. Practice has proved that it is difficult to control humidity by spraying water, and sometimes the development of bacterial buds is affected due to excessive spraying of water on the material surface, resulting in the death of young mushrooms and the reduction or extinction of production.
This paper introduces a wonderful method which can not only control the humidity but also increase the yield of Pleurotus ostreatus without spraying water. Get some cotton cloth and canned bottles, cut the cotton cloth into 8cm × 40cm strips of cloth, fill the bottle with clean water, then soak the strips of cloth in water 15cm long, the remaining 25cm spread out and hang on the edge of the bottle, placed above the mushroom bed, or suspended in the air, at the same time put a container with cloth strips dripping under the bottle. The cotton cloth strip can absorb the water from the bottle, and the water on the cloth strip can evaporate in the air, thus raising the temperature in the air and controlling the humidity in the room at about 85%. The method is measured by the amount of water in the bottle. This not only saves a lot of trouble, but also improves the yield and quality of Pleurotus ostreatus.

What technical points should be paid attention to when growing Pleurotus ostreatus indoors?
Pleurotus ostreatus is popular because of its delicious taste, short production cycle and easy cultivation, especially in Northeast China, where the climate is cold in winter and spring and there is a lack of fresh vegetables. if Pleurotus ostreatus is planted indoors and supplied to the market, it is a good way to get rich. However, a prominent problem in indoor cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus is that the air temperature is not easy to grasp, and the surface layer of the culture material is easy to dry, which affects the production of Pleurotus ostreatus. The author thinks that the effect of soil mulching cultivation is good. First, the choice of mushroom house. Mushroom houses can choose abandoned or temporarily unused houses (must be repainted with lime water), and there are

Edible Fungi Farming Pleurotus ostreatus Moisturizing Three Ways
At present, the main reason for the low yield of Pleurotus ostreatus planted in rural areas is that the moisture content of the culture medium after harvest is too low. How to keep the culture medium moist and produce more mushrooms becomes an important factor for high yield of Pleurotus ostreatus. Fungus stick wall-type soil covering moisture: lay a soil ridge 15~20 cm thick according to the length of the fungus bag in the shed, and remove the plastic bag from the fungus bag that is about to produce mushrooms. Put the bacteria sticks neatly on the ridge. Each row is covered with a layer of soil 3 to 4 cm thick, sprayed on both sides and smoothed with mud. Then discharge the second layer of bacteria stick and cover with soil, can discharge 6~9 layers,
