Propagation of lilies by multiple methods

There are many kinds of lilies, and appropriate measures can be taken according to different species when propagating. The common methods are as follows:

The seeds of the sowing method are sown immediately after harvest, or they can be replanted in the spring of the following year. Sunshade should be carried out in the seedling stage, and the management of water and fertilizer should be strengthened so that small bulbs can be formed in autumn. The flowering time varies with different kinds of lilies, such as musk lilies can bloom in a year.

The bulblet mother plant forms a bulb on the underground stem node, and sometimes it can also form a bulb at the base of the mother bulb, which is separated from the mother bulb in autumn and planted separately or stored in sand until the next spring. It should be deep when planted, it can sprout after 20 days and blossom for 1 to 3 years.

This method is only suitable for lilies and sand lilies with bulbs. In summer and autumn, mature bulbs are collected and sown on demand, bulbs can be formed in the same year, germinated in the next spring, dug up and planted in autumn, and most of them can blossom after 3 years.
