Control of lily mosaic disease (cmv)

Pathogens: lily latent virus [Lilylatentvirus], cucumber mosaic virus [Cucumbermosaicvirus] (CMV for short). Lily latent virus is widely harmful in lily plants. Some lilies are asymptomatic after being infected with this virus, while others show symptoms of chlorosis and mottling. Cucumber mosaic virus causes chlorosis mottle symptoms, if the disease and Baiquan latent disease spot. Route of transmission: peach aphids and other aphids are mediators of virus transmission

Route of transmission: peach aphids and other aphids are vectors of the virus. Cucumber mosaic virus infects other plants such as cucumber, tomato, zinnia, tobacco and heart leaf tobacco, causing mosaic and malformed symptoms.

Prevention and control methods:

1. Keep a good record of planting, do not use diseased plants as breeding materials, and burn out diseased plants.

2. Spraying insecticides regularly to kill aphids.
