Plant species: perennial climbing herbaceous flowers
Biological characteristics and ecological habits:
Jialan has a transverse rhizome, about 2cm in diameter, yellowish brown, and often emerges from the terminal bud. Aboveground stems slender, trailing, up to 3m high, green, less than 1cm in diameter, unbranched or with a few branches. Leaves sessile, alternate, opposite or in whorls of 3, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, emerald green, apex tapering into caudate, apex tendril-like, so that stems grow upward by entangling other things.
Flowers bisexual, solitary or several inserted at the tip to form an open corymb. From July to November, each flower can bloom for 10-11 days, and each flower can bloom for about 55 days. Capsule.
The petals of Jialan began to turn green into dragon claw shape, and the next day the middle of the petals turned yellow, the tip of the petals was bright red, and the periphery of the petals was inlaid with gilt. Three days later, the stem and middle of the flower changed from green and yellow to gold, orange and red to bright red. The flowering period of the whole plant can last 55 days.
Like warm, humid climate and rich in organic matter, good drainage, ventilation, strong water retention of fertile soil, growing well in dense forests and moist grass. Avoid drought and strong light, 40% rain 45% shade at seedling stage, 10% shade at vegetative growth and 15% shade at flowering stage, and soil moisture at about 80%. The rainfall during the growth period should be 1000-1200mm, and the relative humidity of the air should be more than 80%.
The cold tolerance was poor, the flowers developed poorly and could not bear fruit when the temperature was lower than 22 ℃, and the aboveground part of the plant was damaged by freezing when the temperature was lower than 15 ℃. The optimum temperature for growth is 22 ℃-24 ℃. Generally, it germinates and grows in March, begins to flower in the middle of June, blossoms from July to August, and seeds mature from September to October.

Golden lilies blossom easily
Golden lilies are mostly used as cut flowers and blossom easily. When planting, we should pay attention to the following points: 1. It is appropriate to cultivate bulbs with hypertrophic bulbs-bulbs purchased should be fat and flexible so that they can blossom easily in the future; bulbs that are shrunken, damaged or placed for too long will not blossom. 2. Do not shine at the initial stage of ball planting. It is advisable to plant the "ball" in autumn or spring. Bury the "ball" in the soil, the end of the ball is up, expose about 1 hand 3, plant the soil to moisturize, do not apply fertilizer temporarily, and be shady and see as little light as possible, so that it can not only take root quickly, but also take advantage of the "dark period".
