Characteristics: medium-culm and multi-panicle late-maturing japonica rice variety, plant height 95mi 100cm, light green leaves, good plant type, strong tillering ability, strong stem toughness, short awn spike, yellow glume tip, oval grain, 110 grains per main ear and 26g 1000-grain weight. Brown rice rate 83.2%, milled rice rate 73.6%, head rice rate 61.3%, chalkiness 0, transparency 1, gelatinization temperature 7, gel consistency 86 mm, amylose content 17.7%, protein content 6.76%. The whole growth period is about 145 days, with good yield, fertilizer resistance and lodging resistance, good rice quality, resistance to rice blast and bacterial blight. He participated in the northern rice regional trial from 1994 to 1995, with an average yield of 606.1 kg per mu in two years, an increase of 8.6% over the control variety Qiuguang.

Key points of cultivation: sparse sowing and strong seedlings, sowing in mid-early April, transplanting in mid-May, density 26.4 cm X 132 cm or 30 cm X 20 cm. General fertility level fields apply 12 kg pure helium per mu, properly combined with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer before heavy, medium light, after supplement.
