Tea Variety-Longjing 43
Clones. Shrub type, middle leaf type, especially early seed. It was bred by Tea Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences from Longjing species by systematic breeding method. In 1987, the National crop Variety approval Committee approved (recognized) as a national variety with the approval number GS13007-1987, which won the National Science Congress Award.
Characteristics: the plant is medium, the tree posture is half-open, the branches are dense, and the leaves are obliquely attached. The leaf is oval, the leaf color is dark green, the leaf surface is flat, the leaf body is slightly folded, the leaf edge is microwave, the leaf tip is acuminate, the leaf tooth is dense and shallow, the leaf quality is medium. The bud leaves are slender, green and slightly yellow, and there is a light red spot at the base of the spring shoot, with less pilose hair, and the weight of a bud with three leaves is 39.0g.
Characteristics: buds and leaves have strong fertility, resistance to picking, poor tenderness, and the peak period of one bud and one leaf is in late March. The yield is high, and the yield per mu can reach 300kg. The dry sample of one bud and two leaves of spring tea contains about 3.7% amino acids, 18.5% tea polyphenols, 12.1% total catechins and 4.0% caffeine. Suitable for the production of green tea, Longjing, flag gun and other flat tea, excellent quality. Cuttings have strong fecundity.
Suitable planting areas: green tea areas in the south and north of the Yangtze River.
Main points of cultivation: it is suitable for planting in single tea garden, and the soil with deep soil layer and rich organic matter is selected for cultivation. It needs to be picked in batches and in time. After several years of continuous picking, the noodles need to be pruned lightly. Timely prevention and control of tea weevil and anthracnose in spring and high temperature burns in summer.

Tea plant variety--Mei Zhan
Originated in Lutian Township, Anxi County. Clonal varieties. In 1985, it was designated as a national improved tea variety, small arbor type, upright tree posture, distinct trunk, horizontal leaves, large leaf middle bud seed, overwintering bud fish leaf opening period in late March to late April, early May mining, dormancy in late October. Strong resistance, wide adaptability, yield of dry tea up to 150 kg.

Originated in Luoyan Township, Anxi County, clone varieties. In 1985, it was designated as a national excellent tea variety, shrub type, semi-open tree posture, upright, dense branches, branch angle 50~60 degrees, strong resistance and adaptability. In particular, the ability to resist diseases and insect pests is strong, early bud seeds, overwintering bud fish leaves open in early March, mid-March, late April mining, late October to early November dormancy, yield more than 100 kg of crude tea per mu.
