Prevention measures:

Treatment:

① The rabbits found sick were isolated and treated in time, and the cage utensils were sprayed with 1~2% trichlorfon solution for strict disinfection.

(2) Insect killer was applied to ear canal twice a day for 3 days, and the effect was obvious. According to the development rule of mites, it was treated once every week and recovered.

Prevention:

① Do a good job of rabbit house hygiene, often keep clean, dry, ventilated, feeding density should not be too large.

② Observe each rabbit frequently, isolate and treat the sick rabbit immediately, disinfect the rabbit house and cage completely, and select acaricide.

Feed should be complete, especially pay attention to the problem of vitamin deficiency, in order to improve the rabbit's resistance.

④ Regularly carry out drug prevention on rabbits, that is, dip feet and ears of healthy rabbits with 1~2% trichlorfon solution every six months, and wash feet and ears of newly purchased rabbits preventively.

5. The introduced breeding rabbits must be strictly quarantined, isolated and observed for a period of time to confirm that there is no disease and then mixed.

Due to effective measures, the spread of acariasis was controlled. This is a disease that should not have occurred. Due to the negligence of the breeding personnel, contaminated clothing has become an indirect means of transmission, causing the epidemic of this disease. I would like to remind you of your breeding friends and learn lessons.
