3. Clinical symptoms

The incubation period was 3-20 days.

(2) subacute type: mainly gastrointestinal dysfunction, high body temperature, depression of spirit, superficial frequency of breathing, loss of appetite, diseased raccoon dog coat, sunken eyeball, sometimes suppurative conjunctivitis, sick raccoon dog dysentery, individual mixed with blood, weak limbs, incomplete paralysis of hindlimb in the later stage, and died in 7 days after high failure.

(3) chronic type: sick raccoon dog loss of appetite, gastrointestinal dysfunction, dysentery, feces often mixed with blood, gradual weakness, anemia, suppurative conjunctivitis, concave at present, disorganized by fur, like to lie, walking and swaying, and survived after 3-4 weeks of failure.

During lactation, raccoon dogs are weak, inactive and unable to suck milk. Raccoon dogs do not hug in the nest, give a weak moan or cry, often yawn, raccoon raccoon dog growth retardation, the course of disease 2-3 days most die.

4. Anatomical and pathological changes

5. Clinical diagnosis

According to symptoms, autopsy, combined with epidemic characteristics, a preliminary diagnosis can be made, and the diagnosis needs bacteriological examination.

6. Prevention and treatment

(1) Prevention: strengthen feeding management, improve hygiene, and strictly prevent feeding feed contaminated by salmonella. Feed with suspected salmonella contamination should be cooked and fed. The specific prevention is to receive multivalent formalin vaccine, subcutaneously twice every 5 days at the age of 30-35 days, with a dose of 1-2 ml, which can be immunized for 7-8 months. After the mother raccoon dog is vaccinated, the immune antibody is transmitted to the young raccoon dog through breast milk.

(2) treatment: neomycin and levomycin were mixed with feed for 7 to 10 days. The daily adult raccoon dog is 20 milligrams, and the young raccoon dog is 5 milligrams, and the young raccoon dog is 5 milligrams.
