Jinshui pear
The new variety bred by Shanxi Fruit Tree Research Institute was bred by crossing Yali pear and Jinli pear. It has been cultivated in Shanxi Province.
The fruit is medium-sized, with an average single fruit weight of 195g and oval. Fruiting pedicel extremely long, sepals deciduous. The pericarp is greenish yellow, yellowish white after storage, the fruit surface is smooth and glossy, the pulp is white, the core is small, the meat is fine, crisp, juicy, sweet, contains 12.3% of soluble solids, 8.9% of soluble sugar, and 0.18% of titratable acid. The quality is excellent.
The tree has strong potential, sprouting ability and branching ability, and it bears fruit for 4-5 years, mainly with short fruit branches and high yield. It blossoms in early May and matures in late September in Xingcheng area. The vegetative growth period is 214 days.
