Source of variety: selected by Institute of cultivation, Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
Characteristics: plant height 90cm scattered panicle type, panicle length 16.1cm, average 85 grains per panicle, seed setting rate 93%, 1000-grain weight 25.1 g. The growth period is 131 days, the living stalk is mature, low temperature tolerance, strong drought resistance, disease resistance, lodging resistance, resistance to close planting, high quality and palatability of rice. Adapt to low-lying waterlogged land, rice fields or dry fields with irrigation conditions.
Cultivation points: sowing seeds from late April to early May in Dalian area, using seed 7-10kg per mu, applying agricultural fertilizer 1000kg, diammonium phosphate 20kg. Ammonium sulfate 15kg was used as base fertilizer, ammonium sulfate 15kg was applied at tillering stage, no irrigation was needed in the growing period, and irrigated 1-3 times according to the weather in the middle and later stage.
Test and demonstration: a large-scale demonstration experiment was carried out after successful planting in Wafangdian area.
