II you 906 was bred by Chengdu second Agricultural Science Research Institute. The whole growth period was 153.0 days, which was 3.9days longer than that of the control.
The weight of 1000 seeds is 26.6g. The processing quality is similar to that of the control, and the appearance and taste quality is better than that of the control. Resistant to rice blast, identified in 1996 as grade 4 leaf blast, grade 1-5 neck blast, light sheath blight, fertilizer resistance and lodging resistance. From 1996 to 1997, the average yield per unit area was 574.6kg/667m2. The yield was 2.76% higher than that of the control. In 1998, the average yield per unit area was 563.6kg/667m2, which was 11% higher than that of the control.

II you 98 was bred by crossing Taichung local No. 1 (TN1) as female parent and DV85 as male parent. The main economic characters were improved, but the intermediate resistance source TD; still carrying Xa-7 gene was crossed with TD as female parent and Minghui 63 as male parent. The selected characters were similar to Minghui 63, but had good recovery, strong combining ability and matched with II-32A.

II you 838 is a rice variety introduced by Huayanhua seed Seedling Branch from Sichuan Institute of Nuclear Applied Technology. It was examined and approved by Hunan Variety approval Committee in March 2003. It is suitable for planting medium rice in the province. The plant height of this variety is about 120 cm.
