(1) Variety source: it is a new hybrid early rice combination bred by Rice Sorghum Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences with K1A and introduced early rice restorer line 404.

(2) characteristics: the combination has cold tolerance at seedling stage, dark green leaves and moderate plant type; the whole growth period is 115d; the plant height is 91 cm, the tillering ability is strong, and the panicle rate is high; the effective panicle per mu is 21-230000, the panicle length is 19-20cm, the seed setting rate is more than 75%, and the 1000-grain weight is 28g; the rice processing and appearance quality is better than the control; it is moderately resistant to white leaf blight and rice blast.

(3) yield performance: in the regional test of Sichuan Province from 1995 to 1996, the average yield per mu was 483.14 kg, which was 9.13% higher than that of Luhong No. 1, the control. In the national regional test from 1997 to 1998, the aggregate yield per mu was 471.1 kg, 10.1% higher than that of Zhejiang 733, and in the national production test in 1998, the average yield per mu was 491.1 kg, 8.1% higher than that of Weiyou 402. The production demonstration generally produces 480-510 kg per mu.
