Prevention: it is necessary to do a good job in the environmental hygiene of the barn, ensure that the barn is dry, remove dirt and deal with it properly, and do a good job of killing flies. We should also strengthen feeding management, increase nutrition, protect cow eyes and prevent injuries.

Treatment: it should be based on the principle of disinfestation, dispersing stasis and detumescence. You can choose the following drugs to rinse or spot the bovine conjunctival sac and the third eyelid (nictitating membrane). Rinse bovine eyes with 2%-3% boric acid aqueous solution several times, rinse bovine eyes with 0.5% Lysol solution several times, drop 2 ml of 10% sodium chloride solution into bovine conjunctival sac, use 0.5%-1% trichlorfon aqueous solution 2-3 drops, drop 5% colloidal eye drops into conjunctival sac 3 times in the morning and evening, rinse 2 times with 0.2% marine sac for 3 times. Give sick cattle oral tetraimidazole, 15 mg per kilogram of body weight for 2 days; take 12 grams of Coptis chinensis, 30 grams of Phellodendron amurense, 30 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis, 12 grams of Ligusticum chuanxiong, 12 grams of peppermint, 30 grams of Forsythia suspensa, 30 grams of yellow powder, 24 grams of cicada slough and 30 grams of Equisetum equisetum.

Most of the sucking nematodes in the conjunctival sac of bovine eyes can be killed after the above drugs are rinsed or dipped for the first time, but some of them still remain in the lacrimal duct and should be used every 5-6 days for 2-3 times.
