Pigs with healthy appetite have a strong appetite; sick pigs suddenly lose their appetite, and their eating habits are abnormal or even stop eating. If pigs lose their appetite and like drinking water, they are mostly febrile venereal diseases.

Healthy pigs do not have nasal juice; if pigs have a clear nose, it is mostly a cold cold, the sticky nose is characterized by fever in the lungs, and foam in nasal fluid suffers from diseases such as pulmonary edema or chronic bronchitis.

The healthy pig feces are soft and moist, cone-shaped and have no special smell; if the pig feces are dry, hard and small, they are mostly febrile venereal diseases; if the pig feces are as thin as water or mud, the number of defecation increases significantly or fecal incontinence, mostly enteritis or intestinal parasite infection. If the pig excretes gray-white, gray-yellow or yellowish-green water-like feces with fishy smell, most of them are infectious diseases such as white dysentery, classical swine fever, swine erysipelas or pig lung disease, and the feces are often mixed with mucus, pus or blood.

Pigs in a healthy sleeping position usually sleep on their side, with loose muscles and uniform breathing; sick pigs often lean on the ground, sleep wearily, and sit like a dog if they have difficulty breathing.
