In the process of raising dairy cows, there are many management technical measures that need to be paid attention to. For breeding, the key problem is how to ensure the healthy growth of dairy cows. As long as dairy cows grow healthily, they can bring high benefits to farmers.

Cow

1. Brush the body of the cow frequently.

The purpose of brushing the body of dairy cows is to improve blood circulation and enhance metabolism. Keep brushing 1-2 times a day. Before milking. Brush with Malian root brush and soft hair brush from front to back, from one side to the other. First reverse hair, then smooth hair, each brush a few times, then use iron cymbal to scrape off the dirt on the cow, and then brush one brush after another, all over the body. In hot summer, clean water can be used to brush the buttocks, tails, external reproductive organs and surrounding parts of cows that are contaminated by feces or soil. Try to brush as dry as possible in cold weather. Cows can't be washed in case of a cold. Usually, it is also necessary to keep the cow's hoof wall and hoof fork clean and remove the attached dirt. In order to prevent the foot wall from breaking, Vaseline oil can be applied frequently. The tip of the hoof is too long to be eliminated in time, and the normal trimming of the hoof is usually done once a year in spring and autumn.

two。 Prevent heat and cold.

Cows are not afraid of cold but heat, so summer cows are mainly to prevent heat and cool down. Electric fans can be installed in the barn to speed up air circulation in the barn. The relative humidity is below 85%. A sprinkler can be installed on the roof of the barn to sprinkle the cow with water and take a bath to help the cow dissipate heat. Trees can be planted around the barn and on the playground to cover the shade, the diet should be reasonably matched, the dietary concentration can be appropriately increased, green succulent feed can be fed, and drink plenty of fresh cold water. To guard against the wind in winter, pay special attention to wear hall wind or thief wind, to avoid excessive humidity. In addition, cows should be given cold water with a temperature of at least 12 ℃.

3. Make sure you get enough exercise.

The physique of milking cows can be enhanced through exercise, especially for house-feeding cows, the appropriate amount of exercise must be ensured. If lack of exercise, it is easy to make the body fat, affecting the milk yield and fecundity of dairy cows, and even dystocia and placenta retention and other diseases. Therefore, for cows, in addition to 2-3 hours of driving exercise every day, the sunny day after each milking and feeding should also be put on the playground to allow them to move freely.
