Artificial cultivation of Gastrodia elata has a wide range of adaptability, regardless of mountain height, shady slope, sunny slope, sandy soil and loess, Gastrodia elata production can be developed, so how to obtain high yield?

① is planted flat on the hillside. Autumn waterlogging and rainy mountain areas, cellar planting Gastrodia elata, in addition to a few places with good drainage, mostly due to stagnant water in the cellar resulting in reduced production of rotten hemp. Slope heap cultivation is easy to be affected by summer drought and high temperature because of its large area, which is not conducive to the growth of Armillaria mellea and Gastrodia elata, so it is difficult to obtain high yield. However, high yield can be obtained by border planting or horizontal cultivation. The methods are as follows: for slopes above 25 ℃, because Rain Water is not easy to stay, bacterial sticks and branches should be swung horizontally to facilitate the acceptance of Rain Water and enhance the ability of soil moisture conservation; slopes below 25 ℃ and cold and humid places should be swung longitudinally to remove excess water. Only by adjusting soil moisture and temperature properly can we promote the exuberant growth of Armillaria mellea and play a role in inhibiting miscellaneous bacteria.

② is cultivated by single-layer bacterial stick and branch and leaf covering method. At present, there are many methods of artificial cultivation of Gastrodia elata, such as one-layer planting, two-layer planting, three-layer planting and so on. There are two kinds of fungal bed fillers: single stick and covered layer with branches and leaves above and below. The practice shows that the empty nest rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bed is high, which is especially unsuitable for cultivation on yellow mud hillside. Laying the fungus bed (that is, laying half the soil with the branches and leaves of semi-rotten broad-leaved trees on the basis of the flat swing of single-layer bacterial sticks) can promote the growth of Armillaria mellea and Gastrodia elata. Compared with the mulch, the mulching is more important than the mulching. Since Gastrodia elata is mainly grown under the bacterial stick, the layering is the nutritional basis for the growth of Armillaria mellea and Gastrodia elata. Attention must be paid to the quality and thickness of the bottom layer. The cover layer should also be a mixture of half soil and half branches and leaves, and the main function is to adjust the temperature and humidity in Gastrodia elata cellar. The branches and leaves used for paving and covering had better be semi-rotten broad-leaved trees, and the fungus stick should also cut the fish scale mouth, and the cutting mouth should be large, deep and dense. Because the fish scale mouth is suitable for inoculation, Armillaria mellea grows many filament heads at the fish scale mouth, which has strong vitality and is easy to combine with Gastrodia elata, so it can increase the yield of Gastrodia elata.

Rational rotation of ③ is an important measure for continuous high yield of Gastrodia elata. Practice has proved that continuous planting of Gastrodia elata in the same area for many years will lead to the degradation of flax seed and Armillaria mellea, resulting in yield reduction due to the change of soil properties. The effective measure to solve this problem is to change the land year after year and rotate reasonably. Where Gastrodia elata has been planted, it should be planted at an interval of at least 5 years, so that the yield of Gastrodia elata will not be reduced.

The cultivation of Gastrodia elata by three-layer co-planting with branches and leaves in ④ can make full use of the land area.
