Yellow spot of Pleurotus ostreatus is a disease caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Gram staining is negative. The disease is a bacterial disease, it widely exists in nature, it has damage to Pleurotus ostreatus and mushroom.

Symptoms: at the initial stage of infection, there is a small spotted yellow disease area on the cover, which expands with the growth of the fruiting body, and infects other fruiting bodies, then the color becomes darker, and then expands to the whole cap, the whole mushroom yellowing, and the diseased mushroom body is waterlogged, but it is not sticky and does not rot, especially the color difference is very obvious after the black Pleurotus ostreatus appears macula. In the later stage of infection, the mushroom body secreted yellowish-brown water droplets, and the diseased plant stopped growing, then atrophied and died. In severe cases, Pleurotus ostreatus all developed disease. The disease spot usually occurs in the superficial layer, and the fungus flesh which is more than 3 mm under the skin rarely changes color.

Etiology: culture materials, soil mulching and water for management are the main sources of mushroom bed bacteria, and air, insects, people and splashing water can also help it spread. High temperature and humidity are extremely conducive to the disease, and grow and reproduce faster, under suitable conditions can infect mushrooms and produce disease spots in a few hours. Especially when the temperature is stable above 20`C, the humidity is more than 95%, and the concentration of carbon dioxide is high, it is very easy to induce the disease; even if the temperature is about 15`C, but the temperature of the mushroom shed tends to be saturated and airtight, it also has a high incidence rate; it is also easy to occur when the culture material and the water in the mushroom shed is not clean; and in the spring and autumn when the temperature changes greatly, the disease is very easy to spread.
