Therefore, the storage and preservation of fresh cut flowers is very important, which generally includes three contents, namely, pretreatment, storage and after-sale bottle insertion, promotion and preservation.

① pretreatment: cut flowers should be pretreated immediately after harvest, including pre-cooling and chemical impregnation.

Pre-cooling: cooling by cold water, cold storage, differential pressure, vacuum cooling and other methods.

Chemical treatment: 20 min 30% sucrose + 1000 ul L silver nitrate solution or 4mmol/L silver thiosulfate solution impregnated the base of the flower stem for 20 minutes.

② storage: cut flowers after pretreatment should be immediately put into cold storage, inserted into cold water that has been pre-cooled to 2Mel 3 ℃, and stored for 48 hours. Low temperature can effectively inhibit the respiration and ethylene production of cut flowers. The storage time of less than 4 hours or more than 48 hours has an effect on the quality of cut flowers. Generally, it can be quickly shipped to the market at low temperature after 4 hours.

The above pretreatment and cold storage can also be carried out at the same time.

③ after-sale bottle insertion, promote opening, fresh-keeping: different flowers, different fresh-keeping solution, suitable for lily fresh-keeping solution has the following two kinds:

3% sucrose solution + 200mg hand L8-hydroxyquinoline

3% sucrose solution + 200mg Band l8-hydroxyquinoline + lmmol/ISTS

The life span of fresh flowers treated with the above-mentioned fresh-keeping solution can be prolonged by more than 2 times. It is worth mentioning that lily pollen has a strong adhesion, falling on the skin or clothing is difficult to remove, so the stamens should be removed before cracking after flowering to prevent pollen contamination of clothing and petals.
