Nanguoli No. 3
"Nanguoli No. 3" was successfully cultivated by Jiao Yanying and others of Fushun Specialty Science Research Institute of Liaoning Province. It is a new variety of Qiuzi pear. It was approved and named by the crop Variety approval Committee of Liaoning Province in October 1998. The characteristics of "Nanguo Pear No. 3" are as follows: the flower is pink and white, the petal is 5, the Corolla diameter is 2.4 cm-2.8 cm, the pistil is 5, and the stamen is 18-23; the fruit is large, with an average fruit weight of 90 g-110 g. The peel is red, the fruit contains 0.367% organic acid, 135 nanograms / g of vitamin C, 12.89% of water soluble solids and 8.96% of reducing sugar. "Nanguo Pear No. 3" is moderate and easy to open, with grayish brown branches of young trees and dark grayish brown perennial trunks; sturdy and solid branches, medium sprouting power, strong branching power, grayish brown new shoots, red top leaves and veins of new shoots. The fruit ripening period is in late September, and the average fruit weight is 90 g-110 g. The tree has strong cold resistance and can withstand low temperature of-33 ℃.
