The leaf infection can be divided into two types: one is the sharp blight type, which mainly occurs in the initial infection stage, the leaf tip is dark brown, and many dark purple-brown oblique parallel markings are formed on it, and the severe spot extends to 1 inch of the whole leaf.

1. Symptom identification The disease mainly harms leaves and leaf sheaths. The infected leaves can be divided into two types: one is the acute withered type, which mainly occurs in the initial infection stage, the leaf tip is dark brown, and many dark purple-brown oblique parallel stripes are formed on it, the serious disease spots extend to 1/3~4/5 of the whole leaf, or the whole leaf dries up and dies;

The other is leaf spot type, in the early stage of the disease appeared on the leaves of short strip small erosion spots, slightly depressed, after the rapid expansion of the disease spots, into fusiform to long oval, tissue necrosis, depression, mostly purple-brown, dark central color, but also some were milky white. When it occurs, the whole field dies after 10 - 15 days.
