Hongpi No. 1 is a medium-ripe variety, and the growth periods of garlic seedlings, bolts and heads are 3 months, 4.5 months and 5 months, respectively. Yield of garlic seedlings per mu is 2500-3500 kg, garlic bolts per mu is 200,400kg, up to 750kg, and garlic per mu is 500,700kg, up to 2000 kg. Garlic seedlings fried with strong flavor, covered with black plastic film to produce garlic yellow, taste better. The bolting of garlic bolts is delicate and spicy and slightly sweet. Garlic is spicy and spicy.
Second, the main points of cultivation
1. Short-term sowing: generally sowing in July-November (or referring to the sowing time of local garlic), garlic bolts and garlic heads will be harvested from March to May of the following year. Planting garlic seedlings for consumption can be sown all the year round. When harvesting garlic, the density is slightly wider, you can use on-demand or furrow sowing, 0.75-1 kg of seeds per mu, 1.5-20,000 seedlings per mu, and the row spacing is 6-9 × 50 cm. The density can also refer to the local garlic cultivation density. For the purpose of harvesting garlic seedlings and bolts, the density can be higher. The seeding method is 1.5-2.5 kg per mu, leaving 30-50,000 seedlings per mu, and the row spacing is 3-6 × 30-40 cm. According to the need, the density can be increased to 75000 plants / mu. If the temperature is too high, you must cover the seeds with sifted fine soil after sowing. After spraying herbicides, cover the straw or other hairy grass 1 cm thick in order to maintain moisture and lower the temperature so that the seeds can germinate normally.
2. Fertilizer and water management. 2000 kg of rotten farm manure and 50 kg of potassium sulfate ternary compound fertilizer were applied as base fertilizer per mu. The seedlings were raised by light application of nitrogen fertilizer and foliar fertilizer at seedling stage. During the growing period, combined with watering, topdressing, ploughing and soil cultivation promoted the expansion of garlic and the growth of garlic bolts. For the purpose of selling garlic seedlings and bolts, nitrogen fertilizer and foliar fertilizer should be applied appropriately.
3. Disease and pest control. After garlic seedlings are unearthed, they should be sprayed in time to prevent and cure pests. Generally, 40% methyl thiophanate 1000-fold solution is used to control leaf blight, and 50% carbendazim 800-1000-fold solution or 75% chlorothalonil 600-fold solution is used to control stem rot. Garlic maggot is the main pest of garlic. Control methods: when sowing, apply tianuojing in the sowing ditch; or from the first ten days of April to the first ten days of May, 20-30kg of 10% profiphos 3-4kg was mixed with soil, sprinkled evenly on the ground, and then watered; or irrigated with 0.5-0.75kg 50% phoxim emulsion 800-1000 times per mu for root control.
