It generally produces 550--600kg per mu, and its rice quality is better than that of indica you 63, which is popularized in a large area at present. Determined by the quality Supervision and Inspection Center of Rice and its products of the Ministry of Agriculture, the brown rice rate is 81.0%, milled rice rate is 72.6%, head rice rate is 59.9%, grain length 6.8mm, length-width ratio is 3.0, chalky grain rate is 39%, chalkiness 4.7%, transparency grade 1, alkali elimination value 6.3,gel consistency 48, amylose content 23.0%, protein content 9.4%. According to the NY122-86 "High quality Edible Rice" standard of the Ministry of Agriculture, six indexes such as milled rice rate, head rice rate and grain length reached the first grade standard of high quality rice, brown rice rate, length width ratio and chalkiness degree reached the second grade standard of high quality rice, and the chalky grain rate was close to the third grade standard. This variety has good palatability and is especially suitable for dry rice, which is a major breakthrough in the breeding of high quality hybrid rice varieties in Chongqing.
