Epidemic diarrhea mainly occurs before and after the Spring Festival (December to March of the following year), mostly in cold and humid weather or after the sudden attack of cold wave, showing a local epidemic. Clinical symptoms: piglets vomiting before diarrhea, thin yellow and green feces mixed with milk blocks, bow back, tail clamping, fear of cold shivering, late eye sagging, severe dehydration, normal or slightly higher body temperature, course of disease 5-7 days, the younger the age, the higher the mortality, the mortality of piglets within 7 days old was 30% and 40%. Adult pigs did not eat food, showing jet diarrhea, water-like sparse feces, the color of feces began to be gray-white, and then gradually became yellow and green, and the course of the disease was generally 7-10 days.

At present, there is no specific treatment for the disease, which mainly depends on comprehensive prevention:

⑴ promotion greenhouse @ # @ 227mm, change to cold water and thin food to feed pigs to formula feed raw feed

⑵ should remove feces in time, change the mat grass frequently and disinfect it with quicklime to keep it clean and dry.

Once diseased pigs are found in ⑶, the pigs should be isolated immediately, and 0.3% potassium permanganate solution should be used in the enclosure.

Disinfect piglets and give piglets 50-100 milliliters of 0.1% potassium permanganate solution; inject or give oral antibiotics and sulfonamides to sick pigs, or 20-30 grams of chloramphenicol per kilogram of body weight mixed with oral rehydration salt and water.
