Swine salt poisoning
As salt has the effect of boosting appetite, some illegal traders often add excessive salt to their feed before selling piglets to increase their weight and make huge profits, which will lead to poisoning, so farmers should pay attention to buying piglets to prevent them from being fooled.
Sodium is one of the essential elements for animals. 0.3-0.5% salt is usually added to the feed to meet the needs of pigs. When pigs are deficient due to sweating, vomiting, diarrhea, urination, etc., they should be replenished in time, otherwise they will grow slowly. Pica (such as eating fecal urine, licking hair, arch wall, arch soil, etc.), but if you eat too much and do not drink enough water, there will be symptoms of poisoning. Poisoning is usually caused by the following reasons: in rural areas, there are surplus pickles, brine and other foods that contain too much salt, which are reluctant to be discarded and will be mixed with feed to feed pigs at one time. There are pigs usually less salt supplement, once there is salt, there will be a fierce eating phenomenon, which will lead to salt poisoning.
The experiment shows that when drinking water is adequate, feeding feed with a salt content of up to 10% will not cause salt poisoning, because excessive salt is quickly excreted with urine, and pigs should have an adequate supply of clean drinking water.
Treatment: at present, there is no good way, when pigs are poisoned, do not supplement water supply, which will accelerate their death. Reduce blood pressure with 25% sorbitol or 20% mannitol, sedate with chlorpromazine and tribromine, and take oral diuretic (dihydrochlorothiazide) AgSO4 (catharsis) to relieve symptoms.

Problems in the use of immune drugs in chickens
With the development of broiler breeding industry, many farmers regard raising broilers as the way to get rich, but there are still two major problems in raising broilers. (1) blindly copying outdated immunization procedures: many chicken farmers are immunized with Newcastle disease Ⅳ vaccine only once, until they are sold and no longer immunize other vaccines; some chicken farmers develop infectious bursal disease in each batch of chickens, and the yolk fluid for treatment and injection contains Newcastle disease antibodies, thus interfering with the immune effect of Newcastle disease vaccine; in infectious bronchitis epidemic areas, absolutely

How to do well the breeding and matching of geese
The selection of breeding methods should be carried out in the following two periods: the first selection should be carried out at the age of 70-80 days. The number of geese that meet the requirements of the breed, such as rapid growth and development, weight, good health, feather color and other appearance characteristics, should be 10% and 20% more than the planned number of breeds. The second selection was carried out at the age of 180-200 days. At this time, the breeding geese have fully developed, and the secondary sexual characteristics of geese are obvious. Breeding male geese require big head, thick neck, strong physique, symmetrical development of all parts of the body, wings close to the body, and forehead meat.
