Characteristics: belong to shrub type, middle leaf type, early species. The tree is semi-developed with no obvious trunk. After three years of planting, the tree is 84.5cm high and 113.3 cm wide. The leaf is 7.5 cm long and 3.5 cm wide, the leaf surface is raised, the leaf margin is microwave, the leaf vein is 7 pairs, the sawtooth is shallow and dense, the bud leaf is tender green, glossy, hairy, and one bud weighs 48.0 grams. The dry sample of one bud and two leaves contains 2.8% amino acids, 25.1% tea polyphenols and 3.4% caffeine. The quality of suitable green tea is similar to that of Fuding Dabai tea. Strong cold resistance.

Yield performance: in the comparison test from 1986 to 1991, the average yield of fresh leaves per mu in 6 years was 1252.11 kg, which was 19.85% higher than that of Fuding Dabai tea. During the national regional trial from 1997 to 2001, it was similar to the control Fuding Dabai tea.

Key points of cultivation techniques: the root system is well developed in the early stage of cultivation, which requires high fertilizer management; making use of its characteristics of early germination and large proportion of spring tea, early production of famous and high-quality tea; strict control of the harm of mites.
