Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Plastic bag cultivation is not only labor-saving and easy to manage, but also can make full use of mushroom room space, reduce diseases and insect pests, and is easy to be cultivated successfully. It is not only suitable for indoor cultivation, but also suitable for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, civil air defense fortifications and other places, but also can be put into rice fields, corn fields, vegetable fields and intercropping with rice, corn and vegetables. This is a new cultivation method widely used in recent years. 1. Specification requirements for plastic bags: choose plastic cylinders with thickness of 0.03-0.04 cm, width of 24-30 cm and length of 40-50 cm (double openings).

Plastic bag cultivation is not only labor-saving and easy to manage, but also can make full use of mushroom room space, reduce diseases and insect pests, and is easy to be cultivated successfully.

2. Preparation of culture materials: cultivated in plastic bags, the ratio of material to water is less than that of border bed cultivation because of its good water retention performance. Generally 500 grams of material and water 550-650 ml.

3. Bag and pick up bacteria: first tie a plug (3.3 cm in diameter and 6.6 cm in length) rolled into a dry cottonseed shell with a clean old newspaper at one end of the plastic tube, or a corncob plug 3.3 cm long and stained with 0.3% carbendazim or potassium permanganate solution, sprinkle some bacteria into the culture material, and then pack it while compacting. In the middle of the load, sprinkle another layer of bacteria, then continue to charge, quickly fill (6.6 cm from the mouth of the bag), and then sprinkle some bacteria to flatten and compact so that the bacteria are in close contact with the material. Then take another stopper and fasten it with a string. The amount of inoculation is generally 10-15% of the material. The key is to sprinkle more bacteria near the mouth of the bag to give priority to the growth of Pleurotus ostreatus, and it is difficult for miscellaneous bacteria to grow.

4, stacking: the bags will be stacked layer by layer, the number of layers should be determined according to the temperature when sowing, the temperature is about 10 ℃, can be stacked 3-4 layers high; 18-20 ℃, 2 layers is appropriate; when more than 20 ℃, the bags can be arranged into a flower pile or placed flat on the ground to prevent the culture material in the bag from burning up the hyphae. Wait for about 15 days, after the material temperature in the bag is basically stable, then stack 6-7 or more layers.

5. Management: the material temperature begins to rise two days after sowing. Pay attention to the material temperature change every day to prevent the material temperature from rising above 35 ℃. When the temperature rises to 32 ℃, open the doors and windows in time and spray water to the ground to reduce the temperature. If the temperature continues to rise, you can dump the pile or reduce the level in order to achieve the purpose of cooling. It is best to control the temperature at about 24 ℃. About 15 days to adjust the pile, put the mycelium growth well together, the poor together, pick out the contaminated ones. Open the mouth of the bag with light pollution, leave it in a cool place for a few days, or smear it with 0.3% carbendazim, dig a heavy hole and bury it. In this way, the mushroom is neat and easy to manage. The relative humidity of indoor air is maintained at about 65%. Generally, after about 30 days, the mycelium can grow well.

When the hyphae were covered with the whole culture material, the buds appeared in the bag after 5-10 days. At this time to unlock the mouth of the bag in time, remove the corncob plug (corncob plug does not need to be removed), turn over the mouth of the bag to expose the bud pile. The later management method is basically the same as indoor bed cultivation.

This method can be used to cultivate Pleurotus ostreatus. After 4 crops of mushrooms are collected, the plastic bags can be removed and the bacteria can be buried in vegetable fields, shaded fields, cornfields or cotton fields (forward trenching). Two more stubble mushrooms can still be produced after watering, which is incomparable with other cultivation methods.
