Varieties of lilies
There are many kinds of lilies, there are about 10 varieties of edible lilies in China, and the more cultivated varieties are: (1) Yixing lily, also known as Lindan. The plant shape is erect and the plant height is about 80 cm. The bulb is about 4 cm high, with an average weight of 70 grams, flat and round, with white and yellowish scales. In the middle and last ten days of July, the flowers are drooping and orange, and there are black spots on the front of the perianth, which is a prominent feature of Yixing noodles. The average output is about 1000 kg per 667m2. (2) Lanzhou lily, also known as Sichuan lily, is produced in Sichuan. Plant shape is tall, plant height is about 100 cm, no pilose, green. Bulb globose or oblate, white, bulb about 3 cm tall, scales enlarged. Leaves dense, alternate, banded, sessile, such as color, leaf axils do not bear beads. Racemes, flowers several to more than 20, flowers drooping, perianth fiery red, reversing when opening, close to the flower stalk, pedicel with 1 leaflet. It blossoms in the early and middle of July, and the flowering period is about 10 days. The flowers are fragrant and beautiful, and the buds are edible. The growth period is longer, which takes 6-7 years. The average output is more than 1200 kg per 667m2. (3) Longya lily should be produced in Shaoyang, Hunan. The bulb is white, tightly clasped, each bulb contains 2-4 scales. The scales are narrow, long and thick, hence the name "dragon tooth lily". The average weight of the bulb is 250 grams, the big one is more than 500 grams, the yield is high, no bitterness, but it is not sweet either. The aboveground stem is more than 1 meter high, smooth hairless, dark green, large lanceolate leaves, strong growth potential, no bulbs and bulbs, or occasional bulbs. Flowers funnel-shaped, white, florescence in early and middle June.

Lily's Sand Storage Method
