Hongxue peach is Ma Yuxi, senior engineer of China Winter ripening Fruit Tree Research Center in Junxian County, Henan Province, using a hybrid between "snow peach" and "winter peach". The breeding of this variety completely put an end to the history of the original snow peach without color and small winter peach fruit, and completely solved the shortcomings of natural fruit cracking and rapid browning after fruit cutting of the original snow peach. It has the advantages of high yield, high quality and strong anti-cracking fruit. the fruit and snow peach are matured and listed at the same time, and are favored by consumers.
Red snow peach has strong adaptability and can be planted in all soils except saline-alkali land and waterlogged land: it is suitable to plant 42 plants per mu in hillsides, hills and barren land, while in general land, the row spacing is 5 meters × 4 meters and 33 plants are planted per mu. It can blossom and bear fruit 1-2 years after planting, and enter the full fruit period 4 years later.
