The characteristics participated in the regional test of double-cropping late japonica group in southern rice region in 1998, and the average yield was 7208.9kg/hm2, which was 9.6% higher than that of Xiushui 11, which was extremely significant, ranking first. In 1999, the average yield of 7157.9kg/hm2 was 2.22% higher than that of Xiushui 11, not significant, and 3.12% lower than Xiushui 63, ranking seventh.

In 1999, the average output of the trial was 7157.9kg/hm2, which was 2.22% higher than that of Xiushui 11, which was not significant, and 3.12% lower than Xiushui 63, ranking seventh. The average output of production test was 5718.3kg/hm2, which was 4.64% higher than that of Xiushui 11, ranking second. The average growth period was 133.3 days, which was 2.6 days earlier than that of Xiushui 11 and 0.5 days earlier than that of Xiushui 63. The seed setting rate is 75.1%, and the 1000-grain weight is 26.4g. Resistance: leaf blast 7-9, ear blast 9, bacterial blight 5, brown planthopper 3. Rice quality: head rice rate 60.6%, chalkiness 15.3%, amylose content 18.1%.
