Brief introduction of New late glutinous Rice Variety Zhenuo 3
Zhenuo No. 3 was approved by the 27th Variety approval meeting of Provincial Agricultural articles Review Committee in March 2003. In 1998, the average yield per mu of this variety in Jinhua city test was 446.0 kg, 2.5% higher than that of control Xianghu 84; in 1999, the average yield per mu in Jinhua city test was 405.9 kg, 5.4% higher than that of control Xianghu 84, and the average increase in two years was 3.95% over the control. The average growth period of two years is 125.9 days, which is 1 day shorter than that of Xianghu 84. In the production test in 2000, the average yield per mu was 437.7 kg, 9.1% higher than that of Xianghu 84. In the two-year regional test, the average effective panicle per mu was 238400, the number of filled grains per panicle was 74.55, the seed setting rate was 87.65%, and the 1000-grain weight was 26.42g. It was identified by the Institute of Plant Protection of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences as moderately resistant to rice blast and bacterial blight. According to the analysis of the quality Supervision, Inspection and Test Center of Rice and products of the Ministry of Agriculture, the six indexes of brown rice rate, milled rice rate, ratio of length to width, alkali elimination value, gel consistency and protein content reached the first grade standard of high quality rice, and the amylose content index reached the second grade standard of high quality rice.
The variety belongs to semi-dwarf type, compact plant type, medium tiller and good threshing ability. The resistance to rice blast is obviously better than that of Xianghu 84, and the resistance to bacterial blight is slightly better than that of Xianghu 84. It is suitable for planting in Jinhua, Quzhou and similar ecological areas. For continuous and late cultivation, attention should be paid to controlling the seedling age and preventing early heading.
Key points of cultivation techniques:
1. Sowing at the right time. Zhenuo No. 3 has a short growth period, photosensitive and temperature-sensitive, and the seedling age is generally less than one month. Continuous cropping rice can be sowed from June 20 to 30. Single-season seeds can be sown in early June. The early season seed should be sown on March 20-25.
2. Cultivate sparsely sowed strong seedlings. The sowing rate per mu is below 30kg. It is appropriate to apply sufficient base fertilizer and more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer and organic fertilizer. Break milk fertilizer was applied at the three-leaf stage and body fertilizer was applied 5 days before transplanting.
3. Strengthen the management of fertilizer and water. The amount of fertilizer should be adjusted to local conditions, the total amount of fertilizer should reach the middle level, the late stage should not be too much N fertilizer, should be dry and wet to old, so as not to affect the seed setting rate and plumpness.
4. prevention and control of diseases and insect pests. Soak seeds with "402" or other antibiotics before sowing to prevent evil seedling disease, spray Jinggangmycin at heading stage to prevent sheath blight and rice false smut.

Occurrence and control of wheat sheath blight
According to the investigation of the measuring and reporting stations in various counties (cities and districts), at present, wheat sheath blight has been widespread and will enter the stage of epidemic damage, and all localities must seize the appropriate period and organize the broad masses of farmers to carry out prevention and control in time. First, the occurrence and trend analysis of the occurrence characteristics of wheat sheath blight this year: first, the occurrence period is normal, due to the low temperature last winter and spring, the growth of wheat seedlings is weak, which is not conducive to the occurrence of wheat sheath blight. The earliest Xiangshui in the city was first found in mid-February, and a large area was found at the end of February and early March. Second, the prevalence rate of the disease and
